I've tried assigning the recorded macro to a Quick Access Toolbar key with no luck, though this is not surprising since the macro won't run from the Run command or the keyboard shortcut. I've deleted the macros and confirmed they were deleted from the global template and then recreated them with no luck. I've confirmed my Templates folder is actually called Templates.
I've confirmed that my Word security settings will allow all macros. I assume there was a Windows update at some point that impacted this functionality, but a multitude of Google searches I have team members who used the same macro recording process as myself with success but they too can no longer use their macros. I'm using the same process to record the macros as I have for the past 15
I recently purchased a new Windows 10 laptop, 64 bit, and can no longer get recorded macros in Word 2010 to run either from the Run command or from the assigned keyboard shortcut.
